Frequently Asked Questions
-
Do you tattoo in color?
At the moment I only work in black and grey, however I am open to using red in a tattoo! I do enjoy using color, but in other mediums outside of tattooing.
-
How long will my appointment take?
Appointments for flash are up to 3 hours per tattoo, this includes setting up, tattooing, bandaging, and payment. For customs, the duration of the appointment will vary depending on the size and complexity of the design (this will be discussed prior), but be prepared to carve out 3 or more hours of your day.
-
Can you tattoo two flash designs in one appointment?
I may be able to accommodate two designs in one appointment depending on the sizing and designs, but you are more than welcome to book two appointments in a day if available.
-
Can I book a custom through your booking calendar?
My booking calendar is for booking flash only! A custom may take longer than a flash design, so please fill out a Custom Tattoo Request Form. If your request is accepted, a date and time will be mutually agreed upon.
-
Will I be able to see a custom design prior to my appointment?
All custom designs are shown the day of the appointment and we will be able to make any changes then and there. The reasoning for this is to avoid unpaid labor, as well as the potential of a client taking a design to another artist. If you’d like to schedule an in-person consultation please reach out!
-
What are you interested in tattooing?
I am interested in tattooing American traditional imagery, ladies/pin-ups, anything cutesy/kawaii, Japanese kitsch, anime, and vintage objects and imagery!
-
Will you tattoo another artist’s design?
Unless you have written permission or have purchased a “tattoo ticket” from the original artist, I will not replicate another artist’s design, however I can create something similar for you.
-
What should I do before my tattoo appointment?
It is recommended that you get a good night’s rest and eat/hydrate well before your appointment. Please avoid drinking heavily the night before. I will not tattoo you if you are sick, on blood thinners, pregnant or nursing, intoxicated, or sunburnt.
-
Can I use numbing cream for my appointment?
I am open to clients using numbing cream, I personally have not experienced problems in the tattoo process, but it is completely up to your discretion to use it! You are responsible for doing research on which brand to use and providing the numbing cream. I highly recommend doing a patch test beforehand to see how your skin reacts to it. If the tattoo placement is agreed upon, apply the numbing cream generously to the area being tattooed an hour before your appointment and cover the body part with saran wrap.
-
Can you tattoo over fully healed scars?
I don’t have a lot of experience tattooing over scars yet but if you’re interested in getting tattooed over a scar, please don’t hesitate to reach out!
-
What if I need to reschedule my appointment?
Please do your best to reach out to me at least 48 hours in advance so I can attempt to fill in your time slot! If you no-call no-show, I will not tattoo you in the future. I’m a very understanding person, a little communication goes a long way!

When do you usually open your books?
I book out one month at a time and announce this via Instagram! I usually open my books towards the end of the month for the following month.
